Family, friends and co-workers of Valerie Martinez will host a Frito Pie Night fundraising dinner, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7 at the Los Alamos Posse Lodge.
Martinez is a 28-year-old single mom who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in late November. She was immediately sent to University of Colorado Cancer Center in Aurora, Colo. to begin treatment for this very aggressive cancer. SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Health announced today that it is changing the hours of operation and services provided at the Los Alamos Public Health Office due to staffing changes. These new hours go into effect Monday, Dec. 19, 2016.
The local clinic at 1183 Diamond Dr. #D will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays (closed noon to 1 p.m.), but will be closed Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
