SANTA FE — The FEMA Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Claims Offices in Mora, Las Vegas and Santa Fe will be closed Thursday, June 19, in observance of the Juneteenth Federal Holiday.
The helpline also will be closed for Juneteenth. Please leave a voice message at 505.995.7133 and your call will be returned during normal business hours on Friday, June 20.
All three offices will resume their normal schedule of appointments only on Friday, June 20 and be open from 9 a.m.–12 p.m., Saturday, June 21.
The Claims Office is committed to meeting the needs of people impacted by the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Fire and subsequent flooding by providing full compensation available under the law as expeditiously as possible. As of June 16, the Claims Office has paid out 18,634 claims for a total compensation amount in excess of $2.59 billion.
