Forty-two local families enjoy a complete Thanksgiving meal today thanks to #forlosalamos at New Beginnings Fellowship and Los Alamos JJAB.
This is the 5th year that #forlosalamos has partnered with JJAB to give families complete meals. Five years ago this started with just 13 families and the numbers have increased every year.

“Five years ago we met with our pastors Shawn and Lanessa Amburgey to discuss how to create a spirit of blessing within our community,” Mike said. “Juanita having worked in close contact with JJAB knew they had families in need, but they lacked resources to help.”
That meeting lead to the creation of #forlosalamos thru New Beginnings Fellowship and a partnership with JJAB to provide a Thanksgiving blessing to those in need.
“This year we had grown to a point that we sought the help of other community partners to make sure it all came together,” Mike said. “We couldn’t have done it without the help of Kalyn Schultz, Smiths, Don and Liz Taylor, Kristy Ortega of RE/MAX, Kingsman Construction, Plateau Property Management, Muy Salsas, and the amazing people and our pastors at New Beginnings Fellowship.”
