Ghost Ranch News:
ABIQUIÚ — Ghost Ranch, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and tranquil atmosphere, announces its upcoming Veterans Weekend Retreat, dedicated to honoring and supporting the nation’s heroes.
Jan. 11-14, 2024, Ghost Ranch will transform into a haven for veterans seeking solace, camaraderie, and rejuvenation. Nestled amidst the awe-inspiring red rocks of Abiquiú, this retreat offers a unique opportunity for veterans to unwind, connect with nature, and share experiences with fellow comrades.
This hands-on and experiential weekend retreat will bring human-centered strategies: mindfulness, creative practice, and restorative circles to US Veterans. These strategies are fun, playful, healing, and simple enough to bring back to your daily life! Ghost Ranch’s serene surroundings, coupled with expert facilitators, aim to foster a sense of community and healing among participants.
“We are deeply honored to host this Veterans Weekend Retreat, extending our gratitude to those who have served our country. Ghost Ranch is committed to providing a supportive environment for veterans to recharge and find renewed strength,” said Joanne Lefrak, Director of Experience and Social Impact at Ghost Ranch.
Tuition is free to New Mexico Veterans courtesy of the New Mexico Arts and Military Grant.
