PEEC has announced that registration is open for its exciting lineup of summer camps. Starting June 10, these camps are designed to ignite a love for nature and adventure, giving children the opportunity to explore the outdoors, make new friends and create lasting memories.
Check out the summer camps PEEC has to offer this year:
- Pathfinders (Grades 1-3): Start your child’s summer of excitement at PEEC! This outdoor adventure camp promises a thrilling connection with nature and the environment. From exploring canyons around the Los Alamos Nature Center to vibrant play on the Pajarito Plateau, Pathfinders is the perfect camp for young explorers.

Week 2: June 17-21, 2024 – Click here for more information and to register - Nature Odyssey (Grades 4-6): Embark on an epic adventure with PEEC’s Nature Odyssey day camp. Dive into hands-on activities and exploration, turning learning into a blast. Get ready for a summer filled with laughter, discovery, and unforgettable moments in the heart of the great outdoors!

PEEC was founded in 2000 to serve the community of Los Alamos. It offers people of all ages a way to enrich their lives by strengthening their connections to our canyons, mesas, mountains, and skies. PEEC operates the Los Alamos Nature Center at 2600 Canyon Road, holds regular programs and events, and hosts several interest groups, from birding to hiking to butterfly-watching.
