SANTA FE ― Today, Speaker of the New Mexico House of Representatives Brian Egolf (D-Santa Fe) has released a video announcing legislative priorities for New Mexico children and families.
The video focuses on the work House Democrats are doing to improve the lives of New Mexicans and put the state on solid economic footing. The video also outlines Democratic priorities to grow the economy, keep families safe, and create opportunities for all New Mexicans.

House Democrats will be pushing to invest in the education moonshot, improve access to health care, and create good-paying jobs for New Mexicans.
Democrats will also be pushing to increase funding for the entire criminal justice system, behavioral health treatment, and early childhood education during this session.
The first session of the 54th Legislature opened at noon and will conlude noon March 16.
