New Mexico Ethics Watch News:New Mexico Ethics Watch has announced that the Interim Courts, Corrections and Justice Committee has included the statewide Ethics Commission on the committee’s work plan for the 2017 interim.
“The ethics commission is one of the most important pieces of legislation that will be before the legislature in the coming years,” said New Mexico Ethics Watch Executive Director Douglas Carver. “We are pleased that this interim committee will start the discussion of the elements of the commission during this interim legislative period. We hope that all residents of New Mexico will actively participate in the committee’s deliberations.”
