KIWANIS News:

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, Kiwanis od Los Alamos is not  holding its usual noon Tuesday meetings at Trinity-on-the-Hill Episcopal Church in April.

No face-to-face meetings at TOTH will be held during the governor’s “stay-at-home” order.

However, Kiwanis is holding Zoom meetings—with speakers. Any non-Kiwanian interested in hearing the speakers should email Kiwanis President Cheryl Pongratz, cheryl1438@gmail.com, so that he/she can be “admitted” to the meeting.

April 21—Deb Huling, a member of Kiwanis, will speak during a Zoom meeting on Holocaust Remembrance Day, telling about her recent experiences at the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem.

April 28—This day would normally be Committee Day, but, given the continuing problems with cornonavirus, Kiwanis is taking the day off. No meeting will be held.

May 5—Los Alamos Public Schools Superintendent Kurt Steinhaus will speak on what the schools are doing—and how it is working—during the coronavirus closure.
