KIWANIS News:

The Los Alamos Kiwanis Club presented Los Alamos High School student Laura Dison with a scholarship this past Tuesday.

Dison was recognized for her community service to Teen Court the past two years in serving as juror, attorney and judge as well as her participation in NJROTC and assisting with the monthly pancake breakfasts held at the Posse Lodge. 

Kiwanis was founded in 1948 and is the oldest service organization in Los Alamos and focuses on youth projects. For more information on Kiwanis, visit www.losalamos.kiwanisone.org. Kiwanis meets Tuesdays at noon at the Trinity on the Hill Church and is open to everyone.
