KIWANIS News:
The Los Alamos Kiwanis Club presented Los Alamos High School student Sidney Ellis with a scholarship Tuesday. Sidney was recognized for his participation since 8th grade in the United Way Youth Group as well as serving as a coach to young basketball players during Toppers Basketball Camp.
Kiwanis was founded in 1948 and is the oldest service organization in Los Alamos and focuses on youth projects. For more information on Kiwanis, visit www.losalamos.kiwanisone.org.
Kiwanis meets each Tuesday at noon at the Trinity on the Hill Church and is open to everyone.
