Los Alamos MainStreet News:
The community celebrated the 2022 Los Alamos County Fair and Rodeo with a parade Saturday that included more than 35 floats.
This year’s Fair and Rodeo Parade theme was “Stars and Stripes, and Summer Nights”. This year’s judges were beloved Los Alamos resident Morrie Pongratz, the new superintendent of Los Alamos Public Schools Dr. Jose Delfin, and new Los Alamos Medical Center CEO Tracie Stratton. Los Alamos Golf Course Manager Mike Lippiatt served as emcee for the parade.
Winning Floats:
- First Place – Boots and Bridles 4H Club;
- Second Place – The Hill Stompers; and
- Third Place – High Country 4H Team.
