The Los Alamos Community Foundation (LACF) has awarded a $5,000 grant to the Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service (LAVNS) to support their marketing efforts in competing with for-profit corporate home health agencies.

The grant will enable the non-profit Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing campaign designed to raise awareness of their services and differentiate them from their for-profit competitors. The campaign will include targeted advertising, social media outreach, and public relations efforts.

“We are grateful for the support of the Los Alamos Community Foundation,” said LAVNS Executive Director Jack Allison, RN. “This grant will help us reach more people in need of home health services and show them the benefits of choosing a locally owned and operated non-profit agency like ours.”

The Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service has been providing high-quality home health care services to Los Alamos and surrounding communities for over 50 years. Their team of skilled nurses, therapists, and aides are dedicated to providing personalized care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
