LAHS eSports Teams Compete At State Finals

LAPS News:

Congratulations to the Los Alamos High School eSports teams who had a great showing at State Finals May 4-5 2023. This is the 4th year that teams from LAHS have competed at the state level.

The Splatoon Team came in first place. Team members are Kaden Coleson, Ben Stringfellow, Miles Iverson, Zane Kretz, Luke Patterson, and Ralston Hoffer.

The Smash Bros team came in third place. Team members are Magenta Bronson, Gabe Cook, Kaden Coleson, Marshall Brunette, and Jacob Waterbury.

The Rocket League team of Ryan Peterson, Henry Stidham, Jacob McRoberts, Jacob Waterbury, D’Angelo Lopez, and Freddy Broyles also came in third place.

Teams began competing against other teams throughout the state in January.

Rocket League finished the Regular Season with a record of 8-3 (26-10), Smash Bros with a record of 10-1 (40-10), and Splatoon with a record of 11-0 (33-1).

Team sponsors include Libbi Lovejoy, Tony Sims, Blake Hovde and Austin Goodbody.
