Los Alamos High School Homecoming festivities begin Monday, Sept. 25 and continue through Saturday, Sept. 30 this year.

Monday, Sept. 25

• Powder Puff Football Game
• Longstanding tradition where senior girls play football.
• Football players coach and officiate the game.
• 7 p.m. (after JV Football game)
• Sullivan Field

Tuesday, Sept. 26

• Billy Bob Volleyball Game 
• Longstanding tradition where senior boys play volleyball.
• Volleyball players coach and officiate the game.
• 6:30 p.m.
• Griffith Gym

Thursday, Sept. 28

• Bonfire
• 8-9:30 p.m.
• Sullivan Field Parking Lot
• LAHS Marching Band, Sports Teams, Roast Marshmallows, Dance with DJ
• Thanks to the Los Alamos County Fire Department for keeping everyone safe!

Friday, Sept. 29

• Early Dismissal at 1 p.m.
• Pep Rally  Noon (LAHS Students & Staff Only)
• Parade 2:30 p.m.
• “Devour the Demons”
• Central Avenue
• All floats must be registered. Forms on LAHS Website.
• Staging begins at 1:30 p.m. at 4th/Central (Canyon School Parking Lot)
• Football Game
• LAHS Hilltoppers vs. Santa Fe Demons
• Kick-off: 7 p.m.
• Student Section will be rocking!
• Homecoming King and Queen announced at half time

Saturday, Sept. 30

• “Hollywood” Homecoming Dance
• 8-11 p.m.
• $15/each or $25/couple
• Tickets sold until Thursday, September 28
• Semi-formal attire (See Dance Dress Code in Agenda)
• Think classy Hollywood Movie Premier!  Dress to Impress!
• Send requests to DJ on Facebook at Party with TNT
• STUDENTS MUST HAVE PURCHASED TICKET AHEAD OF TIME
• STUDENTS MUST HAVE ID TO ENTER (Your ID is your ticket!)

 Buy Carnations

• Carnations are for sale in the lobby during lunch and academic time until Thursday.
• Notes will be delivered in 2A class on Friday to pick up your carnations after the pep rally.
• This is a fundraiser for the Sophomore class.

Stuff the Worry Ghost

• LAHS STUDENTS! Write your stresses down and them stuff them into the Worry Ghost during lunch and academic time in the lobby with Natural Helpers until Thursday after school.
• The Worry Ghost will be burned at the bonfire on Thursday evening.

Spirit Days

• Monday: Disney Day!
• Tuesday: Tacky Tourist Day!
• Wednesday: Jersey Day!
• Thursday: Class Day!  9th: 1980s, 10th: 1990s, 11th: 1950s, 12th: 1970s
