Students of the Los Alamos High School Ballroom Dance program, along with guest performers from DALA, NMDT, YMCA Kathak, LAHS Cheerleaders and LAHS Color Guard, are presenting to the community a free Winter Dance Show at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8 in Duane Smith Auditorium.
As a part of the fundraising efforts for the students’ travel to dance events, Holiday Gift Certificates will be available for sale before and after the show: a course of four weekly waltz dance classes offered in January/February, 7-8 p.m. Tuesdays in the LAHS Topper Theater.
Classes will be taught by LAHS Dance teacher Natasha Barkhudarova and her students. The cost is $40 per person ($20 for students and teachers) for four lessons. For more information (or to order a gift certificate by mail), contact n.barkhudarova@laschools.net or 505.663.2577.
