Los Alamos Middle School 7th grader Khloe F. Martinez is a winning student artist at the New Mexico State Fair. She was awarded third place in the Middle Grades 6 – 9 category for her skateboard art.

Chamisa Elementary School art teacher Andrea Lynch was on hand when Khloe received her award during the 2023 New Mexico State Fair School Arts Exhibit Awards Ceremony held earlier this month.

“I am so proud of all our students that participated,” Ms. Lynch said. “Khloe’s award was well deserved. She worked extra hard on her skate deck and has been a leader in our art room with her attention to detail and workmanship. Congratulations Khloe!”

Khloe is the daughter of Matthew and Nicole Martinez.
