The Los Alamos Middle School (LAMS) Cross Country teams dominated their season opener at Cleveland High School Saturday, Aug. 26. This meet was held concurrently with the high school meet.

The LAMS Boys took nine of the top-10 places, led by Levi Gibson and Marcus Kolman, who placed 1-2 in times of 12:54 and 12;58 on the 2 mile course. The Hawk Boys won the team competition with 18 points to runner-up Mountain View’s 61 points.

The LAMS Girls were led by Michelle Lo and Ajla Bock, who placed 5th and 6th in 15:44 and 15:47, respectively. The Hawk Girls also won the meet, with 34 points to runner-up Mountain View’s 64 points.
