The National Nuclear Security Administration is proposing new construction at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). This floodplain assessment evaluates potential impacts to floodplain values and functions from implementation of the proposed project, identifies alternatives to the proposed project, and allows for meaningful public comment.

LANL Employees Meet Assistance Dogs Of The West
Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) welcomed some special four-legged guests May 29 as the nonprofit Assistance Dogs of the West (ADW) paid a visit for an information event. Four staff members from ADW, along with three of their talented service dogs, joined more than 30 employees to outline ADW’s valuable work in training service dogs that help individuals and work in facilities such as courthouses and hospitals.
