LANL Access Restrictions Lifted

Effective 3:30 p.m. today, Los Alamos National Laboratory has lifted access restrictions.
Vehicle access points on West Jemez Road will be open to non-badge holders, who remain subject to normal security rules regarding weapons or other prohibited items. Read More

Daughter of Los Alamos Activist Arrested at LANL
Barbara Grothus is arrested this morning along with five other protesters after blocking traffic near the entrance to Los Alamos National Laboratory. Grothus is the daughter of longtime Los Alamos activist Ed Grothus who died from cancer. Following this morning’s arrest, several more protesters entered the street near the same location and blocked traffic for about five minutes. No arrests were made during that action.
