LAPS News:
Los Alamos Public Schools (LAPS) have been in discussions with local experts regarding the approaching storm. The storm has shifted some, and they expect the temperatures to drop and the snow fall to increase significantly between 3-6 p.m. today.
In order to ensure that LAPS can get students home safely, It will be releasing middle and high school students early today. Elementary schools will have a regular dismissal.
Dismissal schedule:
- Los Alamos Middle School will dismiss at 1:10 pm.
- Los Alamos High School will dismiss at 1:20 pm.
- Elementary schools will release at the regular time at 2:40 pm.
- There will be no afternoon 3Y preschool today.
Parents and guardians are reminded that if you are picking your child up earlier than those times, please check them out at the office.
YMCA after school childcare will be available as usual at all five elementary sites. They will close early today at 4:30 p.m. Please make appropriate arrangements to pick up your child if they normally attend YMCA after school care.
All after school activities have been canceled.
