Jemez Historic Site is offering an engaging day during Funday at Gisewa with a variety of activities and demonstrations 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, June 16, at Jemez Historic Site, 18160 N.M. 4 in Jemez Springs.
Visitors can explore their creative side through canvas painting or bring out their inner artisan and learn how to do beadwork with Darell Esquibel, an artist from San Felipe Pueblo. Learn the history of Gisewa with this engaging, hands-on opportunity!
This program is included with admission of $7/adult. Children 16 and younger free. Also free to Museum of New Mexico Foundation members, Friends of Coronado and Jemez members, Native/Tribal affiliations, disabled veterans, and foster families.
Funday at Gisewa is a great way to learn the history of the Jemez Pueblo and people through hands-on activities.
