The Friends of Coronado & Jemez Historic Sites offers a monthly lecture series at the Martha Liebert Public Library in Bernalillo.

This month’s free lecture is 2-3 p.m., Sunday, June 22, at the Martha Liebert Library. 

The Friends of Coronado & Jemez Historic Sites present a lecture by Dr. Eric Blinman entitled, “Ceramic Ecology and the History of Southwestern Peoples”. Blinman will explore the intersection of ceramic resources, technologies, history, and culture. He will also explain how archaeologists can make sense of the variety of pottery from the past to the present through principles of ceramic ecology.

The Friends of Coronado & Jemez Historic Sites offers a variety of interesting programs about the region’s history that connect people to the historic sites they support.
