Citizen’s petitions have been circulating, or have been filed, in 23 of New Mexico’s 33 counties (including Los Alamos County) to convene a grand jury to investigate Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham for the crimes of Malfeasance in Office, Violation of Oath of Office and Maladministration associated with the manner in which she has handled the pandemic and health orders.
Malfeasance is when the Governor, in this case, intentionally commits crimes. Misfeasance is when she’s just not doing her job. Violation of oath of office is related to doing things that the Governor is not constitutionally authorized to do, or statutorily authorized to do – just making it up as she goes.
It is unconstitutional for the Governor to grant herself unlimited authority to do whatever she wants. The Governor does not have the authority to make laws. We have three branches of government for a reason!
In order for these petitions to be filed in District Court, at least 2 percent of voters in those counties must sign a petition and believe there is enough cause to investigate what Lujan Grisham has done or not done during the pandemic.
Los Alamos County is well on its way to reaching the 2 percent of registered voters. Any Los Alamos County or New Mexico registered voters wanting to add their name to the petition can do so by sending an email to CITIZENSPETITION@PROTONMAIL.
The petition and signature sheet will be sent to them via email, which they may then sign and return via mail.
NM and LA County registered voters – make your voices heard! This is an action of the people, by the people, and for the people!
If you are interested in becoming a Team Leader to help circulate the petition to businesses, churches and events in your area, please send an email to: CITIZENSPETITION@PROTONMAIL.
