I confess that while I was away at my granddaughter’s birthday, I didn’t read the Los Alamos Daily Post online.

 

Nonetheless, I have to comment about (George) Chandler’s long article. He’s told me everything except what I need to know: why duplication (of law enforcement authority) is a bad idea.

 

Apparently that is as self-evident as, in the case of how to make a watch, not needing to mention that, for it to run properly, you need to pull the crown out to set the time and then push it back in.
