Welcome to the entitled world of today. Since around 1960, Americans have been raised to have a high level of self-esteem and a high sense of entitlement. That governs the way a number of them tend to drive today, oblivious of the needs and rights of others.

Dealing with this mentality on the road can be a real challenge. And if you are unhappy now with speeders going around the North Mesa roundabout at 50 mph, just wait until Los Alamos gets another roundabout next year at Central and Trinity. This major artery into town carries orders of magnitude more traffic than the North Mesa roundabout. I see it as a disaster in the making.
