For the past 4 weeks we have been visiting our daughter, son-in-law and our beautiful 6 and 4 year old grandchildren in your wonderful city.
As both kids love your skate park next to the library, we are frequent visitors. Lately we’ve noticed lots of trash, broken glass and some graffiti, all of which are not only unsightly and dangerous but do not fit the Los Alamos image.
I’ve got a few suggestions for the city fathers and mothers:
- Assign more manpower and frequent visits to the park to clean up;
- Add additional trash containers;
- Encourage the mothers of the skateboarders to use their motherly powers of persuasion to encourage their little angels to clean up after themselves; and
- All of the above.
Personally, I vote for “D”.
