On Monday, Oct. 6, I ended up ditching my motorcycle involuntarily, due to a flat tire. I wish to thank several motorists; in particular, two gentlemen, who stopped and stayed until the emergency personal had arrived.
Fortunately for me, my injuries could have been much worse; I never lost consciousness, and my cell phone even worked, despite being drug through the dirt. So, I was able to call for assistance; however, the two men stopped, got my bike up, and made sure I wasn’t more seriously hurt.
In the confusion of LAPD, LAFD arriving, even though I did ask their names, I have since forgotten. I would just like to thank them for their time and concern. In addition, my thanks to the responding emergency personnel.
Hopefully I won’t have to experience this particular type of kindness anytime in the future.
