This Sunday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. John Cullinan of the Unitarian Church of Los Alamos will reflect on common imperfection and the need for forgiveness as people “Begin Again in Love.”

IHM Hosts Vatican International Exhibition: The Eucharistic Miracles of the World

The Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Los Alamos invites the community to join them as they host the Vatican International Exhibition of The Eucharistic Miracles of the World this weekend.
The local Exhibition includes up to 60 of the Eucharistic Miracles, and will be presented to the Northern New Mexico Community, Oct. 4-6, in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Hall, 3700 Canyon Road. There is no cost to attend and all are welcome.

The Church of Christ has moved to 63 Rover Blvd., behind Los Alamos National Bank in White Rock.
The church met since 1997 at the White Rock Community Center but because of new construction and the need of the space by the county, the church had to move.
The Church of Christ will host its first services at the new location Sunday, Oct. 5. Meeting times include:

SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Transportation’s (NMDOT) Park and Ride regional bus service transit information is now available on Google Maps.
This provides riders with easy access to directions, schedules, bus stops, bus routes, and other information that will help them enjoy a seamless trip. The Trip Planning feature of Google Maps is an easy to use component. Riders type in an origin, destination and select the Transit icon, which allows them to pick the trip that works best for them.

How the Hen House TurnsIn winter at night, a flashlight beam is enough to guide the little ducks to the warm Hen House. Lucy goose doesn’t object when they dash through the door and between her legs—probably because she raised them. Lucy gives the chickens some trouble in summer, but Gwendolyn has learned to avoid Lucy, and the hen hops up onto the roost when the goose is not being bossy.

Zia Credit Union sponsors the 2014 United Way Youth Team, which is raising money for the Community Action Fund and for a new program that was introduced to Los Alamos High School called Link Crew.
