Local Pickleball Group Announces Results Of Recent Tournament In White Rock

SPORTS News:

The local pickleball group hosted a tournament Feb. 3-5 at Pinon Park in White Rock.

Here are the results of the tournament:

Pickleball Single Winners:

First place: Jeff Levine of Santa Fe;
Second place: Jeff Whicker of Los Alamos; and
Third place: Binh Wakeford of Los Alamos.

Pickleball Doubles Winners:

First Place: Gilbert Ratliff and Mathew Chancey of Los Alamos;
Second Place: Linda Hsieh and Gillian Hsieh Ratliff of Alamos; and
Third Place: Kiet Nguyen and Steve Hansen of Los Alamos.

Pickleball Mixed Doubles Winners:

First place: Matthew Chancey and Gillian Hsieh Ratliff of Los Alamos;
Second place: Annie Maes of Santa Fe and Kiet Nguyen of Los Alamos; and
Third place: Gilbert Ratliff and Linda Hsieh of Los Alamos.

The tournament was organized by Lem O’Neal along with members of the pickleball community.
