Around the country, writers are working toward the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 p.m. Nov. 30 for National Novel Writing Month.
The Blue Monday Writing Group will host a silent writing event for two hours 1-3 p.m. four Mondays in November on the second floor of Mesa Public Library, Room 1, in support of writing a 50,000-word novel in 30 days.
Plan on arriving a few minutes early to set-up and greet fellow writers, but at 1 p.m. the writing begins. Attendees may quietly arrive late, take breaks or leave early as their schedules require.
The four Monday meeting days are Nov. 6, 13, 20 and 27.
