Storey is promoting the ‘Fierce Women Party’ set for Labor Day, Sept. 2 at the Tractor Brewing Company on 4th Street in the Nob Hill area of Albuquerque. She will talk about headliner, comedian Rick Overton, who is coming in from California to perform, and the Tracey Whitney Trio of Albuquerque.
Surprise celebrity guests will pop on stage during the event, which opens at 4 p.m., with performances beginning around 5 p.m., and there will be a raffle of cool New Mexico film gear.
Storey will emcee the event as well as perform three songs from famous girl groups including the Ronettes, The Go-Gos and Martha and The Vandellas. She will perform as Trixie ConQueso with her backup dancers The Cheesy Delights (Frenchy Camembert and Brie, aka Piper Wohlbier and Marcie Long).
Arts and crafts booths outside will be manned by women, including area artists PiperMade Bags and Hippie Chique Henna by Heather. Tickets are $15 at the door.
