Los Alamos Arts Council Call For Art: ‘In/Motion’

LAAC News:

Have you ever seen something that you cannot believe is standing still? The Los Alamos Arts Council (LAAC) invites artists to celebrate cinema and other forms of movement in the Fuller Lodge Art Center. From drawn motion studies to sculptures of birds in flight to crochet running socks, this exhibit encourages applicants to submit works that evoke motion and/or celebrate the moving image.

All mediums of art will be considered including: ceramics, painting, photography, stained glass, ceramics, fiber art, practical crafts and other manners of 2-D and 3-D art. There is capacity for captioned short films (3-10 min.) should exceptional candidates arise. Preference will be given to artists based in New Mexico. For more information, email Gallery@laac-flac.org.
