Los Alamos Chamber Of Commerce Upcoming Events:
2023 Los Alamos Chamber Business Awards voting is OPEN!
Every year the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce invites the community to participate in two rounds of online nominating and voting to name the best Chamber member businesses and organizations in Los Alamos and White Rock.
Many great local businesses and organizations were nominated this year, but only the top five (or six!) Chamber member businesses in each category move on to the voting phase, which is now open through 10 p.m. Friday, April 28. Note that due to a tie, two categories have six organizations listed for voting. Thank you to everyone who nominated businesses and organizations for the Chamber Business Awards.
Award winners will be announced through local media Thursday, June 1 and the awards will be presented on stage Friday, June 2 at the Friday Night Concert on stage at Ashley Pond! Thank you to Los Alamos National Laboratory – Community Partnerships Office for sponsoring this event!
There are eight Business Awards categories for 2023. Vote now for your favorite in every category, and please only vote once. If you would like to let us know why your favorite businesses or organizations deserve to win, please email us at ryn@losalamos.org or sam@

Eligible activities include but are not limited to tournament and travel expenses, team fees, and equipment purchase.

Promotional Opportunities:
Oppenheimer/ScienceFest Business Specials
As we do for ScienceFest every year, we would like to promote your unique experiences, products, programming, or attractions. This year we will promote anything with an “Oppenheimer” twist! This can be as simple as a menu item, t-shirt design, or a one-time Oppie-themed Trivia Night, to an on-going tour or art program. But instead of just doing this for ScienceFest, we will promote these specials for a longer period of time. The plan is to announce these specials on Oppenheimer’s birthday April 22 and then continue to build the offerings as this “Year of Oppenheimer” moves along. So, please send us your “Oppenheimer” offerings, with a photo if possible, to Sam at sam@losalamos.org. Contact us if you have questions!
