Property owners, managers, and business owners looking to repurpose or lease a space are invited to attend “Before You Sign Your Lease…”, an essential informational session on occupancy classification and change of use.
The session, hosted by Los Alamos County Community Development Department, is 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, in the Boards & Commissions Room 110 at the Los Alamos Municipal Building at 1000 Central Ave.
The event is designed to educate property owners, property managers, and current and future business owners on the proper methods for changing the occupancy classification of a space. Understanding this process is crucial to avoiding costly mistakes, ensuring compliance with building codes, and working effectively with the local jurisdiction.
