COUNTY News:
Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) customers may receive a phone call or an email between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. during the week of Dec. 14.
Triton Polling and Research was hired by the department to survey a statistically significant, random sample of citizens to assess the level of community support for its environmental goals. Specifically, these are six goals adopted by the Board of Public Utilities to increase clean electricity and conserve water and natural gas.
Department officials encourage customers to participate in this five-minute, anonymous survey.
Feedback on how these goals align with the values and priorities of the community will be critical in guiding the department and the board on how it assesses future energy resources and implements conservation measures.
