Los Alamos Girl Scout Troop 10605 Donates Christmas Tree To Be Auctioned To Benefit Esperanza Shelter

Girl Scouts from Los Alamos Troop 10605 donated and decorated a Christmas tree to be auctioned to benefit the Esperanza Shelter in Santa Fe, a crisis center that provides services for those experiencing domestic violence in Northern New Mexico. Many other Los Alamos Girl Scout troops contributed to the effort, which resulted in a holiday tree featuring Girl Scout-themed ornaments. The tree is adorned with Girl Scout badges, vests, camping-themed ornaments like tents, bed rolls and s’mores, and traditional Girl Scout cookies. To bid on this or any other tree donated to Trees of Hope for the Esperanza Shelter, visit this website. In-person and virtual bidding will occur Nov. 26-30. Courtesy/Troop 10605
