Los Alamos High Flyers To Host 2024 Dreamcatcher Gymnastics Invitational At Santa Fe Convention Center

Around 1,000 gymnastic athletes and coaches, together with around 3,000 families and supporters will descend on the Santa Fe Convention Center this weekend for the Dreamcatcher Gymnastics Invitational, hosted by Los Alamos High Flyers Gymnastics (LAHFG).

The competition to be held Feb. 23-25, brings in student athletes from around the state and region – this year hosting 23 teams from New Mexico, Texas and Colorado.

The Los Alamos High Flyers parents, boosters and staff have been preparing for months for the annual event, which begins 2:30 p.m. Friday and continues throughout the weekend with spectators able to view dual competition areas. The meet, now in its 8th year, is High Flyers’ primary fundraiser of the year.

Los Alamos’s Jeff Favorite serves as the event announcer and brings smiles with his light hearted performance. Around 50 Los Alamos athletes plan to compete this weekend.

The meet promises to be a lot of fun for both athletes and spectators, with multiple concessions and shopping available, professional photos, a fun, dress-up photo booth, and competitive sessions for gymnasts ranging in age and ability from kindergarten through adult.
