JJAB News:

Just in time for the last snowstorm, JJAB was able to provide 85 youth with winter coats, boots, gloves, scarves, and/or hats.

Youth ages 5-18 that live or attend school in Los Alamos County were provided with the winter clothing in the first two weeks of December.

The JJAB Resource Specialists, Los Alamos Public School (LAPS) Counselors, and the Los Alamos County Victim Assistant worked to identify needs and submitted requests.

In addition to receiving financial donations to purchase items, donations of clothing were provided by the Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church congregation and other community members. Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church also provided space to store and sort the items, while three volunteers from All Together Los Alamos assisted the JJAB Resource Specialists, LAPS Counselors, and Victim Assistant with sorting and delivery.

Thank you to all who donated and supported this community giving project.
