From Los Alamos Makers:

Los Alamos Makers continues its mission to empower creative entrepreneurs and bring hands-on learning to the community by hosting a free soap-making workshop led by Lively Faith Soap, a family-run natural soap company based in White Rock.

The event will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16 at Los Alamos Makers at 1789 Central Ave. Participants will discover the artistry and science behind handcrafted soap using all-natural ingredients — and get an insider’s look at how goat milk, shea butter, and plant-based oils combine to create rich, moisturizing “butter bars” that are as nourishing as they are beautiful.

“At Los Alamos Makers, we support creative entrepreneurs in any way we can — by providing tools, space, expertise, opportunities to meet like-minded creatives, and a platform for makers to showcase their skills and products free of charge,” the Los Alamos Makers team said. “Events like this are a chance to learn, connect, and celebrate local talent.”

About the Workshop

Advance registration is encouraged via the following registration link. However, walk-ins are welcome as space allows. The event is free, and optional donations will help Los Alamos Makers continue offering workshops like this one to the community.

Guests will also have the chance to shop Lively Faith’s goat-milk soaps, perfect for self-care or gifts. Each bar is lovingly crafted from local goat milk, designed to hydrate and soothe even sensitive skin.

About Lively Faith Soap

Founded on a small family farm in White Rock, Lively Faith Soap is built on simple values: authenticity, sustainability, and care. What started as a way to use excess goat milk has grown into a heartfelt local business. Their soaps are crafted with six natural oils and butters — olive oil, castor oil, coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, and lanolin — and never contain harsh chemicals or palm oil.

“From our family farm to your home, we believe in keeping life simple, staying connected to what matters, yet creating products that feel indulgent,” the Lively Faith family said.
