The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department. Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

BRIANNA GARCIA

Feb. 11 at 1:55 a.m. / Police arrested Brianna Garcia, 22, of Los Alamos at 650 San Ildefonso Road and charged her with DWI.

JAMES CARPENTER

Feb. 13 at 8:50 a.m. / Police arrested James Carpenter, 29, of Jemez Springs on Diamond Drive and charged him with the unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon.

Feb. 13 at 2:04 p.m. / A 54-year-old Los Alamos man reported being the victim of extortion by accusation of a crime. The matter is under investigation.

Feb. 14 at 7:07 p.m. / Police arrested Brandi Vigil, 31, of Alcalde in Barstow, Calif., and charged her with forgery. The estimated loss is unknown. Police booking photo is unavailable.

ERICA ARCHULETA

Feb. 15 at 8:51 a.m. / Police arrested Erica Archuleta, 31, F, of Los Alamos on N.M. 4 and charged her with driving without a vehicle registration.

Feb. 15 at 7:15 p.m. / Police arrested Christian Chavez, 22, of Los Alamos at 3629 Villa St., and charged him with battery and issued him a summons to appear in court. Police booking photo is unavailable.

JOHNNY TRUJILLO

Feb. 16 at 2:35 p.m. / Police arrested Johnny Trujillo, 21, of Alcalde on West Jemez Road and charged him with burglary and arrested him again at 3:22 p.m. at 2500 Trinity Dr., on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant.

Feb. 16 at 12:55 p.m. / A resident on Nickel Street reported that he is the victim of burglary. The estimated loss is unknown.

CHRISTOPHER CARMICHAEL

Feb. at 6:15 p.m. / Police arrested Christopher Carmichael, 45, of Alamogordo at 750 Trinity Dr., and charged him with possession of a controlled substance.
