Los Alamos quilter Claire Swinhoe won the ‘Best of Show’ award for appliqué quilting at the New Mexico State Fair 2024, for her quilt entitled ‘My Heart Will Go On’. It features nine blocks with pink heart motifs. The quilt is almost entirely hand appliquéd and took just under a year to complete. It was quilted by White Rock resident Roxanne Webster.
