COUNTY News:
Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities crews will begin working on the corner of 36th Street and Arizona Street, to run a water supply line for beautification of the median.
The County Council aproved $18,000 in the FY18 budget for water service, site development and landscaping materials for this project. The water-wise design will include drip irrigation to the specific plantings and have the same theme that the existing medians in town now showcase.
Utility work is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Monday, Dec. 4.
