ALBUQUERQUE — The New Mexico Infrastructure Finance Conference (NMIFC) announces Lt. Gov. Howie Morales and Xochitl Torres Small, former U.S. Deputy Secretary of Agriculture and U.S. Congresswoman, as keynote speakers.
The 28th Annual NMIFC, taking place Nov. 3-7, is New Mexico’s premier event for infrastructure funding, planning, and collaboration, bringing together more than 600 local, tribal, and state leaders, along with engineers, planners, and community advocates from across the state.
“Improving public infrastructure across New Mexico has been a top priority under the administration of Governor Lujan Grisham and I, and we’re not done yet,” Lt. Gov. Morales said. “The NMIFC is an invaluable gathering that brings together state and local government leaders to strengthen our connections, share knowledge, find new opportunities for collaboration, and work together to build a more resilient future.”
Lt. Gov. Howie Morales will share his vision for strengthening collaboration between state and local governments to build sustainable, thriving communities. Xochitl Torres Small will provide leadership perspectives from her time in Congress and as a Secretary of Agriculture.
The five-day conference will also feature over 60 sessions and workshops from 137 state and local speakers, including the following high-ranking leaders:

On the final day of the conference, DFA will announce award winners and the host city for the 2026 NMIFC.
