John Hughes is at the helm of the large mower Friday afternoon mowing the playground at Mountain Elementary School. This large mower makes quick work of the large playground lawn. Hughes is a member of the Los Alamos Public Schools Maintenance Grounds Crew that is very busy all summer long mowing, cutting, trimming, watering and managing the grounds of all seven schools and 17 leased facilities for LAPS.
