The Mesa Prieta Petroglyph Project will hold several upcoming events.
On Sept.16 and Oct. 15 public tours will be held at the Wells Petroglyph Preserve. The Mesa Prieta Petroglyph Project would love to introduce the site to locals, especially those who have never visited. Also, on Sept. 23 we have a special Tour of the Wells Petroglyph Preserve followed by a wine tasting featuring Black Mesa Winery of Velarde with owners Lynda and Jerry Burd. Enjoy amazing views of the Rio Grande Valley from the home of the Project founder Katherine Wells. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.
