Los Alamos County Senior Deputy Clerk Naomi Maestas, a Republican, just filed for the office of  County Clerk. ‘I feel that it is very important to continue the progress we have made in the County Clerk’s Office,’ said Maestas, who has worked in the Clerk’s Office for nearly 10 years. If elected, she will resign from her current position.
