ALBUQUERQUE — The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History (NMNHS) will host a science-powered party at the museum Friday, April 12. Discovery After Dark will give guests 21+ an opportunity to explore the museum and enjoy hands-on experiments ranging from making slime to liquid nitrogen ice cream.

Visitors will enjoy the museum’s thought-provoking exhibits and participate in hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math fun. A live DJ and food and beverage trucks will be on site.

“We believe curiosity and learning is a lifelong pursuit,” says Jennifer Hayden, President and CEO of the Nuclear Museum. “Our Discovery After Dark event allows adults to act like kids as they explore scientific concepts through demonstrations and hands-on fun. We’re excited to make Discovery After Dark a regular part of our programs.”

Discovery After Dark will be held at The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History at 601 Eubank Blvd, SE, in Albuquerque. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. It’s ok to be a kid at heart, but a valid 21+ ID is required to attend.
