Lensic Performing Arts Center announces its new lineup of broadcasts from London’s National Theatre, beginning Aug. 30, 2022. From Shakespeare to new works, the productions bring star-studded theater to audiences at the Lensic through high-definition broadcasts filmed live on Britain’s most exciting stages.
The NT Live in HD series provides a rare opportunity to see exemplary performances from one of the most reputable theater companies in the world. The National Theatre launched the program in 2009 and reaches over 11 million people in 700+ theaters across the globe.
Tickets for National Theatre Live in HD broadcasts are $22 for the public and $19 for Lensic members.
This season includes Suzie Miller’s Prima Facie (soon to be seen on Broadway) with Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Anton Chekov’s The Seagull starring Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Arthur Miller’s The Crucible with Erin Doherty (The Crown), and more.

Jodie Comer (Killing Eve) makes her West End debut in the UK premiere of Suzie Miller’s award-winning play.
7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27, Straight Line Crazy
Ralph Fiennes plays Robert Moses in David Hare’s blazing account of the most powerful man in New York.
7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 1, Jack Absolute Flies Again
A rollicking new comedy by Richard Bean (One Man, Two Guvnors) and Oliver Chris (Twelfth Night).

Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) makes her West End debut in a 21st century retelling of Anton Chekhov’s tale of love and loneliness.
7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 28, Much Ado about Nothing
Katherine Parkinson (The IT Crowd) and John Heffernan (Dracula) lead the cast in Shakespeare’s romcom of sun, sea and mistaken identity.
7 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, The Crucible
Arthur Miller’s captivating parable of power stars Erin Doherty (The Crown) and Brendan Cowell (Yerma).
7 p.m., Sunday, May 14, Othello
Shakespeare’s most enduring tragedy is directed by Clint Dyer, with a cast that includes Giles Terera (Hamilton), Rosy McEwan (The Alienist), and Paul Hilton (The Inheritance).

The Lensic Performing Arts Center, a historic venue in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico, is home to nearly 200 events each year.
