Nature Center Will Be Open Labor Day Weekend

The Los Alamos Nature will be open this holiday weekend, including Labor Day.
 
It is free to stop by the nature center and see the animals, explore the indoor and outdoor exhibits and play areas, and spend time in the Wildlife Observation Area. 
 
For those who are looking for a fun way to explore the outdoors, the nature center has information about hikes and has the Passport to the Pajarito Plateau program, which offers prizes for hiking trails listed in the passport. The Los Alamos Trails App, a free tool provided by the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC), is a great companion for hiking in this area.
