From the Nella Domenici for U.S. Senate Campaign:
ALBUQUERQUE – Nella Domenici released her first TV ad of her 2024 campaign to represent New Mexico in the United States Senate, titled “Monroe” which is the name of the street in Albuquerque where Nella and her seven siblings lived as children.
The ad is a nostalgic nod to the Domenici family legacy of service that spans three generations in New Mexico.
Both of Nella’s parents, Pete and Nancy, were born and raised in Albuquerque.
Nella’s father, Senator Domenici’s 36 years in the U.S. Senate is a legacy of enormous service and dedication which had a tremendous impact in almost every community in New Mexico. Nella’s mother has been a leading advocate for mental health. Nella has an extensive family network of siblings, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews who live in the Albuquerque area.
The ad summarizes Nella’s accomplishments as a hard-working businesswoman. She reached the highest echelons in her field of finance while juggling the responsibilities of wife and mother. Living in New Mexico as an adult, Nella’s philanthropic work is so extensive that people familiar with her accomplishments say, “Nella had a second career in New Mexico philanthropy.”
Nella issued the following statement on the ad and a message of encouragement for New Mexicans to “Demand More” in November:
“I’m proud to continue the Domenici legacy of delivering more for New Mexico. I learned the value of leadership from my parents in Albuquerque. I began my career at the bottom of the career chain and worked my way up, so I know how to fight and win. Now, I want to fight and win for our home.”
The ad will air as part of an initial six-figure ad buy. It tells the story of Nella’s upbringing in New Mexico and the Domenici legacy of service and leadership. The voiceover in this video serves as a tribute to her father – the narrator being the same as used in Senator Domenici’s campaign advertisements.
